The Payroll Manager will help meet standards for the financial department necessary for growth and will work on tax-related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports and updating policies. If you are a dynamic Payroll Manager with excellent communication, proven leadership, and are deadline driven, this may be the role for you.Your responsibilities- Comply with relevant laws and internal policies- Collaborate with auditors and manage payroll tax audits- Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records- Respond to all questions related to payroll and resolve issues- Organize payroll systems and timekeeping- Coach and supervise payroll assistants and clerks- Build systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments)- Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams
